Why use a temporary number?
Handing your personal mobile number to every website that asks for it is how you end up on marketing lists you never signed up for. A temporary number lets you complete the verification step without giving anything away.
The three steps
- Pick a country. Choose whichever country the service you are signing up for accepts.
- Use the number. Copy it into the signup form exactly as shown, including the country code.
- Read the code. Messages appear on the country page as they arrive, with the code highlighted.
Good to know
Free numbers on this site are shared and public, so never use them for accounts that hold personal or financial information. For anything sensitive, use a private premium number instead.
